The Australian School Band and Orchestra Festival will collect, store, use and disclose personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (2014) and Privacy Act 1988. As such no information about site users will be disclosed to 3rd parties other than if required to do so in order to comply with any valid legal process or governmental request (such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, or court order), or where a law enforcement agency exercises a warrant to inspect our Internet Service Provider’s Logs. To this end the Australian School Band and Orchestra Festival guarantees not to disclose the email addresses of its subscribers to a 3rd party, and uses the services of secure online credit card based provider, Paypal, to maintain the security of credit card transactions conducted through the site. No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities.

In accordance with the Privacy and Personal Information Act 1998, The Australian School Band and Orchestra Festival retains the right to log the following information for statistical purposes:

• the user’s server address
• the user’s top level domain name (for example .com, .gov, .au, .uk etc)
• the date and time of visit to the site
• the pages accessed and documents downloaded
• the type of browser used
