Jazz Legend, John Morrison, invites all interested big band musicians to sit in on his OPEN REHEARSAL at the AIM Open Day.
As part of the Australian Institute of Music’s (AIM) Open Day festivities on August 12th 2017, I’ll be hosting an ‘Open Rehearsal’ with AIM Studio Youth Orchestra.
The band will be focusing on the music of Ellington in a lead-up to the Essentially Ellington Down Under Festival to be held at AIM in Sydney later in August.
This is a great opportunity for both senior High School students and Band Directors to come and explore the many exciting things going on at AIM – plus you can bring your instrument and participate in the rehearsal if you like. A FREE Lesson with one of the best!
