To assist you in communicating event details to your parents we have provided a Parent Letter Proforma. Please download this letter and edit as required.

Please ensure your parents are advised of an ARRIVAL TIME only. We do not publish PERFORMANCE TIMES and cannot guarantee the actual performance time of each ensemble on the day.

It becomes very stressful for our volunteers dealing with parents who believe they have been given a performance time and then miss their child’s performance.

We strongly advise you to instruct your parents to move into the auditorium as soon as the ensemble has been taken to a warmup room.

Entry Charges

Please ensure your parents are aware there is an audience entry charge. Tickets are available online (discounted) and at the door.

Rationale: The Festival is a not-for-profit event. The entrance fee is to cover our considerable costs in venue hire, adjudicator fees etc. Any profit generated is used to grow and improve the Festival. Tickets are available from the foyer of the venue on the day.
