The Cliff Goodchild OAM Scholarship for Professional Development in Music Education

This award was initiated in 2016 to recognise Cliff’s lifetime achievements in founding the NSW School Band Festival (now the Australian School Band and Orchestra Festival), promoting instrumental music programs in schools, and promoting Australian music and Australian composers.

The Scholarship will fund professional music educators to work as mentors with the recipient in their school context within a twelve month period.
